Personalized home visits by a certified
parent educator, specially trained in child development and eager to
help you give your child a great start.
· Developmental Screenings
Information - even before your child is
born - on what to look for as your child grows.
Tips on constructive play, activities, and toys to encourage development.
· Group Meetings
Group meetings with other parents, where
you can share parenting experiences, gain new insights and talk about
topics that interest you.
· Resource Network
A network of resources that can help you
with special services you may want that are beyond the scope of Parents
as Teachers.

HOW DO CHILDREN BENEFIT?
A series of independent evaluations of Parents as
Teachers over the past 20 years has shown that children participating
in the program were significantly more advanced than their peers in language
development, social development, problem solving and other intellectual
skills. These benefits continued to be seen as they entered school and
